Rajesh Manandhar is a prominent Nepali artist renowned for his impactful cartoons and illustrations that blend humor with social commentary. Serving as an art teacher at Budhanilkantha School in Kathmandu, he has utilized his artistic talents to educate and engage the public on various issues.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Manandhar created a series of cartoons aimed at informing and uplifting the public. His illustrations not only provided guidance on preventive measures but also offered a lighthearted perspective during challenging times. For instance, he depicted the coronavirus as a character participating in local festivals, subtly emphasizing the importance of safety while acknowledging cultural practices.
